John Dirne is a celebrated songwriter and producer whose prolific career spans collaborations with top Dutch artists such as Gerard Joling, Jeroen van der Boom, René Froger, Tino Martin, Wolter Kroes, Jan Smit, Mart Hoogkamer, André Hazes, and the ensemble Toppers in Concert. His talents have also extended to the international dance music scene, where he has worked with iconic figures like Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, and Tiësto.

As an entrepreneur, John co-founded the music platform QISUM with René Froger. He also established the label Main Music alongside Bob Vos and Robby Langendorff. Main Music is currently thriving with two Top 40 hits: Robert van Hemert’s “Zoet Zout Zuur” and “Vannacht Slaap Jij Bij Mij” by Afro Bros, John West, Billy Dans, and Monq.

John’s most recent co-write, “In The Dark,” with David Guetta and Armin van Buuren, has become a staple on international radio, earning the title of Dance Smash on Radio 538. His previous collaborations with Armin van Buuren, including the hit “On & On,” have amassed over 100 million streams on Spotify. He recently achieved the “Hit van 100” on 100%NL with André Hazes Jr. and Mart Hoogkamer’s “Zij Is Van Mij,” and has scored more than 50 “Paradeplaat” hits on SterrenNL over the past three years. Additionally, John received a gold award for his contributions to Billy Dans’ debut album.
